[生理功能]
1、保护心血管系统：本品对心血管疾病的多种危险因素<高脂血症、高血压、血小板聚集、低纤维蛋白溶解活性等>均能起到作用。
2、具有抑制肿瘤的作用：本品是一种亚硝胺阻断剂，能抑制亚硝胺形成。对小鼠移植性肿瘤生长有明显的抑制作用。
3、提高人体免疫能力：本品有较好的免疫激发性，可增强免疫系统的功能。本品所含有的活性成份能够刺激免疫细胞，使其更活跃，还能刺激和调节免疫细胞数量的增长。
4、具有延缓衰老、抗氧化的作用：本品能显著提高机体内SOD活性，有效清除致病、致衰老的自由基，同时大蒜素显著降低了体内的MDA含量，表明大蒜素能稳定细胞膜结构，具有抗氧化作用，减轻资质过氧化对内皮细胞的损伤。
